About The Author: I never wanted to be just the anchor man behind the desk. I have always been passionate about serving the community in every city where I’ve lived. For nearly 20 years, I’ve strived to be a role model and show children if a little boy from little Sylacauga, Alabama, could grow up and follow his wildest dreams, they could too. As I’ve read to the kids in countless libraries and schools, I’ve noticed many were shocked to see me since they had few African American male teachers. The positive representation was also noticeably absent in the books I read to them. With “Jeremiah’s New Beginning,” I hope to, in my way, fill that void while introducing the concept of health and wellness to the entire family. I'm striving to create something all elementary kids can identify with while learning a lesson that builds stronger, happier, and healthier families. "Jeremiah's New Beginning" is a new beginning for us ALL.

About The Illustrator: Donald Wilson II, a teacher with ten-plus years of experience in the classroom, has improved his lifelong talent for drawing by creating artistic charts for his students. The Rembert, South Carolina native has always enjoyed drawing and longed for the opportunity to develop characters of minority representation. His goal is to allow each student to see symbols of integrity representing them. Donald thrives on showing future generations they matter through his continued impact on young lives in education and literature. He and his wife also share positive messages through DR Designing, a print, art, and home decor company.

Greg has captured the vision of what school can and should look like.
This was wonderfully written with an upbeat and positive vision of what we owe our children.
A fun, exciting, health-focused school where they are actively engaged and taught.
